What is a PAPS?
PAPS: PRE-ARRIVAL PROCESSING SYSTEMS (PAPS) is the advance processing of incoming goods in the United States. They allow Customs to know in advance the details of road loads, thanks to the e-manifesto (early customs declaration to be transmitted at least 2 hours before the arrival of the truck at the port of entry).
What is a PARS?
PARS: PRE-ARRIVAL REVIEW SYSTEM (PARS), is a system developed by Canada Customs that allows market activity information to be communicated and thus begin their clearance before they arrive at the border.
